David Baylies is an audio programmer living in the New York City area. His work brings together skills from a variety of fields, including audio plugins, guitar pedals, and new instrument design. David is also a musician, and has played trumpet for most of his life in a wide variety of genres. David’s work in music technology is heavily influenced by his understanding of the musician’s mind.

David received a BS in mechanical engineering from Boston University and an MM in Music Technology from New York University. He currently works for Eventide Communications writing C++ for audio recording hardware.
